The opening track Hold on Strong is quite a track indeed. Heavy – yet buoyant. There’s a particularly subtle squelch reminiscent of Nonplace Urban Field’s Wimp which taunts me through the track and brings me back “again and again”. Paul St Hilaire’s vocals are soothing – yet urgent. 5 stars!

The whole album is pretty damn good. There’s going to be obvious comparisons to Rhythm & Sound which are apt.
